Soon after the presentation, Friends of Highfield House wrote to the club thanking the members for the large donation. They said the money would be put to good use to buy equipment to help encourage therapy and skills for the children to reach their maximum potential before leaving the centre.

In particular, they hoped this money would be spent on computer equipment.
