Navigation Exercise

Navigation Exercises provide the first steps for those who are interested in getting involved in Rallying. These events provide an opportunity for people to learn and practice navigation techniques without going to the expense of entering a full-scale Rally.

The aim is to plot and drive a pre-determined route by resolving a series of clues, usually given as handouts en-route. The degree of difficulty of these clues varies from very basic instructions for newcomers and novices to more complex clues for experts.

Once again, the entry fee for a Navigation Exercise is low and you can enter in a standard road car. As the events mainly take place on a Wednesday or Friday evening, they are much more social than an all-night Road Rally, particularly if you are a newcomer.
