Well my first attempt at organising a Navigation Exercise took place on October 16th. After a couple of weeks of studying the map, driving the route, double-checking map references etc, the night was here!

I arrived at the "Ring O'Bells", Landkey, to find only Stuart Ayre and Mark Austin there. I thought to myself "well this is it", but to my astonishment, we actually had a full entry list - 12 cars (!!), 3 of which were new members!

It was a dry night, but it had been raining for a few days prior to the event, therefore, the roads were leaf ridden, which obviously made it slippery. Within the first mile, Derek & Gareth Drayton and Alan Lock & Graham Roberts had already hit a gate! However, they both recovered to make it to the finish.

I would like to say thank you to everyone that took part and marshalled.
