The 'Mad March Hare' Treasure Hunt

Seven crews arrived at South Molton Cattle Market car park for the start of the Treasure Hunt. Whilst some of the regular 'Treasure Hunters' were unfortunately unable to make the event, it was nice to see some new faces turning out for an afternoons fun.

The route took the competitors from South Molton into George Nympton and then through the back lanes to Satterleigh, Warkleigh and on to Chittlehampton. From here they went round Cobbaton and then down the back lanes to Venn and the finish at Bishops Tawton. From here they proceeded to the Wimpy at Roundswell for the results.

All the crews found the first half of the event quite easy with most of them getting all the questions correct. However the second half proved to be much more difficult and, with the on-set of rain, some of the clues were missed which fortunately helped to decide the results.
