This being our first Treasure Hunt, we were delighted when seven crews turned up at the Muddiford Inn to take part. The weather was perfect - not a drop of rain in sight! That was a real bonus.

We planned the route on both sides of the A39, firstly taking competitors around the Marwood area and then onto Kingsheanton, Prixford, Whitehall and Whiddon. The route then crossed the A39 and followed on down to Shirwell, Loxhore and finally finished at Lower Loxhore.

All of the crews were back at the Wimpy, Roundswell for 5.00 pm, some much earlier, most having managed to find all of the clues.
