| Treasure Hunt - August 1st |

Well, it was certainly hot, hot, hot……., but what a turnout. Ten teams in all, along with several new faces, which was really great.
The treasure hunt started at Lake and followed miles of country roads through to Lovacott where it ended. Ossie and I thought the questions to be on the easy side and I was in a panic at Easton Moor, whilst we were waiting for the first cars to come through, thinking that they had already long gone. In the end we went looking and soon found those in the lead - only to be told by Dave and Margaret that they were finding the questions to be difficult. Thank goodness for that!!! We then found Scott, Gaynor and Thomas, along with Jill and Mick looking for those elusive bees!!!
Everyone made it back to the Wimpy at Roundswell in almost good time, apart from Karen and Neil, who did have a late start, so allowances were made. As can be seen from the results below the scoring was fairly close and the newcomers certainly did not disgrace themselves by any means.
